The designers from "Foggy Albion" are strongly attracted by strict silhouettes and neutral colours. The basic range of colours is as follows: white, black, brown, and their semi-tones. But Julien Macdonald doesn't confine himself to his colleagues' predilections for the given colours and styles: almost a half of his collection consists of the articles made of luxurious furs. The couturier has used a "classical" brown mink, called "mahogany", to sew a cape decorated with fur pompons in its lower part.
A black mink trimming has been used in the elegant costume, made of tweed, and in the sexual coat made of crocodile leather. Several overcoats and jackets have been made of mink and karakul magnificently trimmed, in Russian style, with fox of various colours. The short jackets, sewn of various kinds of fur have been treated as a pep of the collection. All the jackets have been made with the same technology - square pieces of contrast materials have been located as on a chess - board. The designer has presented several "eternal valuables" to the persons who are very fond of defiant splendour. They were the articles made of chinchilla, lynx, karakulcha, and beautiful silvery sable.
