Following the world tendency to use natural colours and furs, all leading French Houses have staked on extra ordinary silhouettes, surprised details, nontraditional methods, and non-standard fur technologies in their collections. In the Jean Paul Gaultier's collection the stripes of fox fur have been sewn with black stockinet chiffon that has created a soft streaming silhouette of articles. The fragments of Christian Dior's overcoats and jackets consisted of mink fur stripes, which were connected with a fully transparent material. A natural mink fur has been used by Paco Rabanne and Costume Nationale to make all-fur sleeves for textile articles,
by Valentino in making long scarves - fur tippets, and by Celine and Louis Vutton in the sweaters with large draped collars. Christian Lacroix has demonstrated several fur cloaks, which were cut in the form of "noodles"; double-side embroidered coats, sewn of a bright black-yellow fitch, have been shown too. Louis Scherrer has used a brown mink, a golden fox, and a Finish racoon to make his articles (models). Making the short fur jacket with a leather corset, as well as the overcoat, decorated with stripy tails, Ungaro has chosen a fur of a Canadian raccoon, which has a less volume. There were various fur "dogcollar"- scarves on the large chiffon bows in Hermes' collection.
